There were few details available Saturday in the tragic death of a woman believed to be in her late 30s or early 40s who was killed in a traffic collision in Aliso Viejo.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Department was investigating the crash, which resulted in the woman’s death at 10:51 p.m. Friday, according to the Orange County coroner’s office.
She died at Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center in Mission Viejo, the coroner’s office said.
The crash was under investigation, OC Sheriff’s Lt. Mark Stichter confirmed Saturday. He did not specify the location of the crash or the victim’s name.
