A pedestrian was struck and critically injured by a vehicle in Garden Grove.
The crash was reported as a two-vehicle collision Thursday in the 9800 block of Trask Avenue, just west of Brookhurst Street, according to the Garden Grove Police Department.
The first arriving officer found the pedestrian and the Garden Grove Fire Department responded and took the pedestrian to a hospital in critical condition.
The gender and age of the pedestrian were not immediately available.
The driver remained at the scene and was cooperating with the investigation, police said.
