An animation teacher at a Rancho Santa Margarita high school is behind bars Wednesday after being arrested on suspicion of distributing child pornography.

Fontana Police arrested Keh-Tain Culbreath, 30, Thursday and he’s currently being held in lieu of $100,000 at West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga, according to online inmate records.

Culbreath, who used to live in Fontana, was taken into custody by the Internet Crimes Against Children task force after authorities searched his Lake Elsinore home and found hundreds of child pornographic videos and images on his electronic storage devices, according to the Orange County Register.

Detectives learned Culbreath is a part-time teacher at Tesoro High School, the newspaper reported. Capistrano Unified School District Spokesman Ryan Burris said the school district was notified of Culbreath’s arrest by Fontana police and that he has been placed on unpaid leave.

“As always, we will work with Fontana Police Department through their investigation and we appreciate their efforts in keeping our community safe,” Burris said in a statement.
