A suspected drunken driver crashed a vehicle into the garage of a Los Alamitos home Tuesday but no one was hurt.
The crash was reported at 1:03 a.m. in the 3000 block of Marna Avenue, according to the Los Alamitos Police Department.
The owner of the home told City News Service she heard a “very large noise like a car accident” and it felt like something hit her house. She opened her bedroom window to see a car embedded in her garage, crushing the door and damaging items inside, she said.
Police said the driver complained of pain and was taken to a hospital for evaluation. He was arrested for DUI, police said.
