At least one person was killed Monday in a four-vehicle crash on the Costa Mesa (55) Freeway in Tustin, authorities said.

The crash was reported at 12:34 a.m. on the northbound Costa Mesa Freeway at the Edinger Avenue offramp, the California Highway Patrol said.

Witness reported the vehicles involved were a white Honda Accord, a blue sedan, a red sedan and a fourth vehicle, the CHP said.

A SigAlert was issued at 12:49 a.m. shutting down all northbound lanes and the far right lane was reopened at 1:10 a.m., the CHP said. Lanes 3 and 4 were reopened at 2:08 a.m. The remaining two northbound lanes were reopened at 3:06 a.m.
