A person suffered fatal injuries Thursday evening in a jump or fall from a freeway overpass in Irvine.
The fatality was reported about 9:10 p.m. on the northbound side of the freeway at Jeffrey Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The Orange County coroner’s office was summoned to the scene.
