Officers were dispatched the location a little after 9 p.m. Saturday, where the motorist, a 27-year-old man, remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities, Radus said.
Paramedics rushed the pedestrian to an area hospital, where he later died from his injuries, he said. Neither drugs nor alcohol appear to be a factor in the crash.
The Fullerton Police Department’s Traffic Bureau asked anyone with information regarding the crash to call them at (714) 738-5313.
