
A person was killed Monday in a fiery car crash in Garden Grove, authorities said.
The crash was reported at 12:10 a.m. on Knott Street at Stanford Avenue, Garden Grove police Lt. Robert Fowler said.

Arriving firefighters found a car off the roadway between two trees on the southwest corner of the intersection, Fowler said.
“The vehicle was fully engulfed in flames,” he said. After firefighters put out the flames they found the body of one person inside.
Police traffic investigators were on the scene and were asking anyone who might have seen the crash to call (714) 741-5823.
