The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped three-tenths of a cent Monday to $3.603, one day after rising two-tenths of a cent.
The average price is two-tenths of a cent less than one week ago and 9.1 cents lower than one month ago but 29.8 cents more than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The Orange County average price dropped a half-cent to $3.55, one day after rising two-tenths of a cent. It is 1.3 cents more than one week ago and 28.4 cents higher than one week ago but 6.3 cents less than one month ago.
