A suspected reckless driver was involved in a four-vehicle crash on the eastbound Riverside (91) Freeway in Anaheim Tuesday morning, sending one of the vehicles off the freeway and into a ditch.
The crash was reported about 3 a.m. near the Gypsum Canyon exit. Witnesses reported a blue Chevy Cruz was driving recklessly before the accident and one vehicle went into a ditch and the suspect’s vehicle ended up between the carpool and No. 1 lane and a man was seen running from the scene, according to the California Highway Patrol.
All vehicles were moved to the right side of the freeway and there were no reports of lane closures.
It was unclear if anyone was injured.
