The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County inched up one-tenth of a cent Sunday to $3.18, its highest amount since March 26.

The average price has risen 11 of the last 12 days and is 1.7 cents more than one week ago, 10.2 cents higher than one month ago, but 51.4 cents less than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The Orange County average price also increased one-tenth of a cent, to $3.167, its highest amount since March 25. It is 1.2 cents more than one week ago and 10.9 cents higher than one month ago, but 49.3 cents less than one year ago.
