The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped one-tenth of a cent for the third consecutive day Sunday to $3.197.
The average price is two-tenths of a cent less than one week ago, 2.7 cents less than one month ago and $1.04 cheaper than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The Orange County average price declined two-tenths of a cent to $3.161. It is two-tenths of a cent more than one week ago, but 3.9 cents less than one month ago and $1.04 cheaper than one year ago.
