A 25-year-old man who died Sunday in a crash involving a car and a truck on a freeway in Corona was identified Sunday by the Orange County coroner’s office.
The crash happened about 4:45 a.m., according to the coroner’s office.
Phat Tran was transported to the Orange County Global Medical Center in Santa Ana, where he died less than three hours later, the coroner’s office reported.
The crash was being investigated by the Orange County office of the California Highway Patrol.
