About 1,600 Southern California Edison customers in the Yorba Linda area were temporarily without power for several hours Monday morning due to an equipment problem, the utility reported.
The outage was reported just after 4 a.m. near an Edison facility at Fairmont Boulevard and Avenida Rio Del Oro, according to an Orange County sheriff’s lieutenant.
“The outage was caused by equipment failure and power was fully restored at 7:12 a.m.,” Ben Gallagher of Southern California Edison said in a statement.
