A 75-year-old man who went missing in Corona over the weekend was found Monday, and a Silver Alert issued by the California Highway Patrol was deactivated.
Luis Fuentes Jr. had last been seen about 3 p.m. Sunday in the vicinity of Fullerton Avenue and Foothill Parkway, and authorities sought help to locate him.
At 9:10 Monday morning, the CHP announced in a tweet that Fuentes had been found, but did not provide further details.
The Silver Alert program was established by the CHP to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearance of elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals.
