The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose four-tenths of a cent Sunday to $4.404, one day after dropping four-tenths of a cent.
The average price is the same as one week ago, but 2.1 cents more than one month ago and $1.18 higher than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The Orange County average price increased two-tenths of a cent to $4.363, one day after decreasing by two-tenths of a cent. It is eight-tenths of a cent less than one week ago, but 1.3 cents more than one month ago and $1.16 higher than one year ago.
