A 19-day streak of increases to the average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County ended Sunday when it dropped three-tenths of a cent to $4.576.

The average price increased 13.8 cents during the streak, including four-tenths of a cent both Friday and Saturday, to its highest amount since Oct. 18, 2012, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It is 2.2 cents more than one week ago, 16.6 cents higher than one month ago and $1.41 greater than one year ago.

The Orange County average price rose one-tenth of a cent to $4.538, one day after increasing three-tenths of a cent. It has risen 17 of the past 18 days, increasing 12.9 cents to its highest amount since Oct. 18, 2012.

The Orange County average price is 2.2 cents more than one week ago, 17 cents higher than one month ago and $1.41 greater than one year ago.
