A 25-year-old La Habra man pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting three girls to whom he was related, according to court records obtained Wednesday.

Edgar Manuel Reyestovar pleaded guilty Tuesday to two counts of continuous sexual abuse of a child and a count of forcible lewd act on a child, all felonies. He was scheduled to be sentenced Sept. 8.

Reyestovar sexually assaulted the girls in 2016, 2017, and 2018, while living with them, according to police testimony in his preliminary hearing.

One of the girls said he began sexually assaulting her when she was in the fifth grade and it stopped when she was taken from her mother in April 2018, police testified. Another girl said she was sexually assaulted by the defendant between the ages of 8 and 10, police reported.

A third girl said Reyestovar began sexually assaulting her when she was 6 years old, police testified.
