A 26-year-old man was charged Friday with having hundreds of images of child pornography in Huntington Beach.
Jonathan Floresvillivana was charged with the sale or distribution of child pornography, possession of child pornography, being a prohibited person owning ammunition and a gun in violation of a protective order, all felonies, as well as a misdemeanor count of possession of a controlled substance.
The criminal complaint alleges he was in possession of more than 600 images and 10 or more of prepubescent minors younger than 12, including some that depicted sadomasochism.
The defendant did not enter a plea at his Friday arraignment in the jail courtroom in Santa Ana, which was rescheduled for Sept. 15 in the West Justice Center in Westminster.
Huntington Beach police did not immediately respond to a request for additional details.
