The California Highway Patrol has issued a Silver Alert after an 85-year-old man was last seen in the Garden Grove area Thursday.

Vui Ton was last seen near the intersection of Garden Grove Boulevard and Nutwood Street around 8 a.m., according to the CHP.

Ton was described as a 5-foot-1-inch tall man weighing 110 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt, gray pants, a khaki hat, black sunglasses, and walking with a cane.

Anyone with information regarding Ton’s whereabouts was urged to call 911.

The Silver Alert program was established by the CHP to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearances of elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals.
