The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped seven-tenths of a cent Wednesday to $4.535, a day after dropping six-tenths of a cent.

The average price is 2.9 cents less than one week ago, 2.1 cents lower than one month ago and 86.5 cents below what it was one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has dropped $1.959 since rising to a record $6.494 on Oct. 5, 2022.

The Orange County average price dropped 1.3 cents to $4.441, a day after dropping 2 cents.

It is 3.9 cents less than one week ago, 4 cents lower than one month ago and 77.4 cents below what it was one year ago.

The Orange County average price has dropped $2.018 since rising to a record $6.459 on Oct. 5, 2022.

The national average price rose one-tenth of a cent to $3.135, a day after rising four-tenths of a cent. It is 2 cents less than one week ago, 8.1 cents lower than one month ago and 35.9 cents below what it was one year ago.

The national average price has dropped $1.881 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
