The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped six-tenths of a cent Sunday to $4.446, one day after increasing by the same amount and two days after dropping to its lowest amount since Dec. 26, 2022.

The average price is 1.4 cents less than one week ago, 7.8 cents less than one month ago and 49.5 cents less than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has dropped $2.048 since rising to a record $6.494 on Oct. 5, 2022.

The Orange County average price dropped a half-cent to $4.367. It is 2 cents less than one week ago, 5.4 cents less than one month ago and 42.7 cents less than one year ago. The Orange County average price has dropped $2.092 since rising to a record $6.459 on Oct. 5, 2022.

The national average price dropped six-tenths of a cent for the second consecutive day, to $3.051. It is a half-cent less than one week ago, 7.1 cents less than one month ago and 19.7 cents less than one year ago. The national average price has dropped $1.965 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
