The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose 1.1 cents Sunday to $4.391, its second straight increase after dropping to its lowest amount since July 28, 2021.
The average price is 1.3 cents more than one week ago, but 6.6 cents less than one month ago and 29.9 cents lower than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has dropped $2.103 since rising to a record $6.494 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The Orange County average price rose 1.7 cents to $4.328. It is 3.3 cents more than one week ago, but 5 cents less than one month ago and 21 cents less than one year ago. It has dropped $2.131 since rising to a record $6.459 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The average price per kilowatt hour of electricity at public electric vehicle charging stations in California is 37.1 cents.
The national average price of a gallon of self-service regular gasoline dropped four-tenths of a cent to $3.042. It is 1.9 cents more than one week ago, but 1.6 cents less than one month ago and 8.7 cents less than one year ago. The national average price has dropped $1.974 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
