The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County ticked up one-tenth of a cent Saturday to $4.783.

The average price is 1.1 cents more than one week ago and 28.8 cents more than one month ago, but 1.4 cents less than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has dropped $1.711 since rising to a record $6.494 on Oct. 5, 2022.

The Orange County average price dropped six-tenths of a cent to $4.75. It is the same as one week ago, 31.2 cents more than one month ago, and one-tenth of a cent more than one year ago. The Orange County average price has dropped $1.709 since rising to a record $6.459 on Oct. 5, 2022.

The national average price decreased 1.1 cents to $3.151. It is nine-tenths of a cent less than one week ago, 2.2 cents more than one month ago, and 11.9 cents less than one year ago. The national average price has dropped $1.865 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
