The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped Saturday for the 11th time in 12 days, decreasing a half-cent to $4.792.

The average price has dropped 8.3 cents over the past 12 days, including 1.2 cents Friday, according to figures from the AAA and the Oil Price Information Service. It is 4.7 cents less than one week ago, 13.4 cents more than one month ago and 57.9 cents less than one year ago. It has dropped $1.702 since rising to a record $6.494 on Oct. 5, 2022.

The Orange County average price fell seven-tenths of a cent to $4.744, its 18th decrease in the last 19 days. It has dropped 14.5 cents over the past 19 days, including nine-tenths of a cent Friday.

The Orange County average price is 3.1 cents less than one week ago, 13.6 cents more than one month ago and 55.1 cents less than one year ago. It has dropped $1.715 since rising to a record $6.459 on Oct. 5, 2022.

The national average price dropped 1.1 cents to $3.153. It is one-tenth of a cent less than one week ago, three-tenths of a cent more than one month ago and 50.6 cents less than one year ago. The national average price has dropped $1.863 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
