The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County was unchanged Sunday at $4.792, ending a run of 11 decreases in 12 days totaling 8.3 cents.
The average price dropped six consecutive days, rose two-tenths of a cent Monday and resumed dropping Tuesday, according to figures from the AAA and the Oil Price Information Service.
The average price is 4.2 cents less than one week ago, 11.2 cents more than one month ago and 57.6 cents less than one year ago. It has dropped $1.701 since rising to a record $6.493 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The Orange County average price fell four-tenths of a cent to $4.74, its 20th decrease in 21 days. It has dropped 14.9 cents over the past 21 days, including seven-tenths of a cent Saturday. The average price dropped 13 consecutive days, rose two-tenths of a cent last Sunday and resumed decreasing Monday.
The Orange County average price is 3.8 cents less than one week ago, 10.1 cents more than one month ago and 55 cents less than one year ago. It has dropped $1.718 since rising to a record $6.458 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The national average price dropped four-tenths of a cent to $3.149, decreasing for the third consecutive day.
The national average price is two-tenths of a cents less than one week ago, six-tenths of a cent less than one month ago and 50.9 cents less than one year ago. It has dropped $1.867 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
