A 29-year-old man pleaded guilty Friday and was immediately sentenced to 25 years to life in prison for molesting three girls in Placentia.
Edward James Jaimes pleaded guilty to three counts of oral copulation or sexual penetration with a child 10 or younger and six counts of lewd or lascivious acts with a minor younger than 14 as well as one count of possessing child pornography, all felonies. He has credit for 1,219 days behind bars and was ordered to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.
The sexual assaults date back to 2014, 2020 and 2022, according to court records.
Jaimes was charged in April 2023. Further details were not immediately available from police or prosecutors.
