The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Riverside County rose Sunday to its highest amount since Dec. 17, 2019, increasing 1.6 cents to $3.554.
The average price has risen 27 consecutive days and 47 of the past 48, increasing 37.4 cents, including 2.4 cents Saturday, its largest daily increase since Nov. 3, 2019, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It also rose 2.3 cents on Friday.
The average price is 8.3 cents higher than one week ago, 25.2 cents more than one month ago and 7.8 cents greater than one year ago.
