A pickup truck and two sedans collided on eastbound Highway 74 just east of Menifee Wednesday afternoon, blocking half of the four-lane corridor for over an hour but leaving no one injured.
The crash happened shortly before 4 p.m. on the eastbound 74 at Leon Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A Ford Ram 5500 pickup, a Honda sedan and a Toyota sedan collided, though the circumstances were unclear.
Both eastbound lanes were blocked, and one westbound lane was partially blocked by the crash, according to reports from the scene.
Riverside County Fire Department personnel arrived about 15 minutes later, and paramedics assessed the occupants of each vehicle. One ambulance was requested, but none of the parties wanted additional medical attention, authorities said.
Two of the vehicles were left inoperable and had to be towed, according to the CHP.
The highway was being cleared of wreckage as of 4:45 p.m. Officers were directing traffic around the accident site.
