A vehicle veered off Interstate 10 near Cactus City Monday, traveling 20 feet down an embankment, but it was unclear if anyone was injured.
The single-vehicle crash was reported about 12:40 p.m. on the westbound I-10, about 15 miles east of Indio, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A man, who appeared to be a senior citizen, was seen exiting the vehicle after it descended into the ditch near the center divider, according to a preliminary CHP report, but it was not immediately clear if he or any additional occupants were injured.
The CHP reported the vehicle was stuck but appeared drivable.
