A fire that erupted Friday in an outbuilding on the west end of Riverside burned a man.
The blaze was reported about 10:15 a.m. in the 5800 block of Norwood Avenue, near Robinson Avenue, according to the Riverside Fire Department.
Battalion Chief Michael Allen said that three engine crews and a truck company, numbering 18 personnel, were sent to the location and found the outbuilding ablaze, as well as a man at the scene with moderate burn injuries.
Firefighters quickly contained the flames and rendered emergency aid to the victim, whose identity was not disclosed.
The man was taken to a hospital for treatment.
It was not immediately clear whether the victim was living in the structure and was displaced by the fire.
The cause of the blaze was under investigation.
