The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Riverside County dropped Saturday for the 11th consecutive day, decreasing 1.6 cents to $5.801.
The average price has dropped 17 cents over the past 11 days, including 2.3 cents Friday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. The decreases follow a 36-day streak of increases totaling $1.266.
The average price is 10.8 cents less than one week ago but 25.4 cents more than one month ago and $1.891 higher than one year ago.
