Fire department crew members rescued three drivers whose vehicles got stuck in moving water in Palm Springs.

Palm Springs Fire Department crews arrived to North Indian Canyon Drive just south of Interstate 10 at around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, and were working to rescue the occupied vehicles stuck in the fast-moving water, according to fire officials.

At about 1:45 p.m. officials announced that three drivers were rescued safely. No injuries were reported.

It is expected to be mostly cloudy Wednesday, with a slight chance of rain in the morning, and patchy fog in the afternoon. Highs will be in the mid 50s with light winds out of the west.

There is a 50% chance of rain with lows in the upper 30s Wednesday evening in the valleys and Inland Empire.

It is supposed to start warming up on Thursday, with highs in the low 60s through Veterans Day and the weekend.
