The city of Riverside will continue Christmas celebrations this Saturday with its annual Snow Day event.
The event will be held from 9 a.m. to noon at Bordwell Park, 2008 Martin Luther King Blvd., and is a collaboration between the Riverside Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department and the Bordwell Park Advisory Board.
The day will include free activities, 100 tons of snow for sledding, crafts, prizes, games, face painting and food from various vendors.
Wristbands for access to the youth fun-zone activities and 25 minutes of sledding will be $2 for residents and $3 for non-residents. Wristbands will be available at Bordwell Park from Wednesday through Friday or at the pre-registration/will-call booth on Saturday.
