The season’s holiday festivities will continue Saturday at the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway as Santa Claus stops by to spend time with families.
Those who missed Mr. Claus at the Breakfast With Santa event Dec. 2 can catch him when he visits the Tramway’s Mountain Station Pines Cafe from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, according to tramway spokeswoman Madison Morgan. His visit will be included in the general tram fare admission.
During Santa’s visit, children will have the opportunity to share their Christmas lists with him, pose for photos and enjoy a free candy cane, she said.
Holiday festivities will continue at the aerial tramway with special holiday dining menus on Christmas and New Year’s Day at the tramway’s Pines Cafe and Peaks Restaurant and choir performances scheduled throughout December. However, families were advised that from Dec. 23 to Jan. 7, 2024, the tramway will operate on a modified schedule with the first tram going up at 8 a.m. and the last tram down at 9:30 p.m.
