The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Riverside County rose Sunday to its highest amount since Nov. 18, increasing eight-tenths of a cent to $4.915, rising for the 10th time in 11 days.

The average price has risen 11.2 cents over the past 11 days, including 2.1 cents on Saturday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It rose four consecutive days, dropped three-tenths of a cent on Monday and resumed increasing on Tuesday.

The average price is 8.2 cents more than it was a week ago, 24.7 cents higher than it was one month ago and 13.3 cents greater than it was one year ago. It has dropped $1.458 since rising to a record $6.373 on Oct. 5, 2022.

An 11-day streak of increases to the national average price totaling 14 cents ended with a decrease of one-tenth of a cent to $3.533. It is 7.2 cents more than it was one week ago, 26.9 cents higher than it was one month ago and 9.2 cents greater than it was one year ago.

The national average price has dropped $1.483 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
