A four-vehicle collision in Indio Sunday evening resulted in serious injuries to three people and minor injuries to four more.
The crash occurred at 7:24 p.m. Sunday at Fred Waring Drive and Clinton Street, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
All patients were taken to hospitals in ground ambulances, fire officials said.
Fred Waring Drive was closed west of Clinton Street for an investigation into the crash.
