The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Riverside County dropped one-tenth of a cent Monday to $5.313.
The average price is four-tenths of a cent more than one week ago, 42.7 cents more than one month ago, and 47.2 cents more than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has dropped $1.06 since rising to a record $6.373 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The national average price rose two-tenths of a cent to $3.675, a day after it dropped three-tenths of a cent.
It is 4.1 cents more than one week ago and 14.3 cents more than one month ago, but one-tenth of a cent more than one year ago. It has dropped $1.341 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
