Fire Sunday damaged the master bedroom of a small one-story home in Riverside, authorities said.
Firefighters dispatched at 2:24 a.m. to the 3900 block of Lafayette Street had the fire under control at 2:44 a.m., said Battalion Chief Bruce Vanderhorst of the Riverside Fire Department.
“The fire cause was unintentional after investigation,” Vanderhorst said. “The residence received heavy smoke and heat damage.”
Three adults were displaced and were seeking shelter with family.
No injuries were reported.
