A motorist was injured Monday when his car overturned following a two-vehicle collision on a Jurupa Valley road.
The crash happened about 11:20 a.m. on Harrel Street, near Etiwanda Avenue, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
According to the agency, a sedan and another vehicle impacted, causing the former to flip over on the four-lane street, which is lined with warehouses.
No other details were immediately available.
Firefighters reached the location within minutes and discovered the person in the overturned car trapped, suffering moderate injuries. The victim, whose name was not disclosed, was extricated at 11:40 a.m. and taken to a Riverside hospital for treatment.
The driver and sole occupant of the second vehicle was not hurt, according to officials at the scene.
Sheriff’s deputies partially closed Harrel while a preliminary investigation was conducted and to remove the wreckage.
