Tequila-tasting, live music and fireworks will be featured Saturday during the second annual “Mariachi Festival & Tequila Mezcal Expo” at The Diamond in Lake Elsinore.
The event is slated for 3:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
“Experience the magic of Mariachi with performances by renowned artists, including Graciela Beltrán, Mercedes Castro, Majo Aguilar, Mariachi Sol de México and more,” according to a city statement. “Cap off the evening with a spectacular fireworks display that will light up the night sky, bringing a dazzling end to an unforgettable night of music and celebration.”
A range of agave spirits will be available for sampling, boasting brands from the U.S. and Mexico, officials said. There will additionally be a plethora of edibles to enjoy.
The event is part of the city’s salute to Hispanic Heritage Month.
Tickets run $30 to $45, depending on what performances attendees want to see.
