A driver veered off state Route 62 in Palm Springs and got stuck in the dirt Tuesday, requiring a tow truck and temporarily blocking traffic lanes.
The driver was traveling east on SR 62 near Dillon Road at about 1:50 p.m. when the car veered off the street for unknown reasons, according to California Highway Patrol records.
When a tow truck arrived, the No. 1 and No. 2 lanes were closed for less than 10 minutes while the vehicle was pulled out of the dirt, according to CHP records.
No injuries were reported.
