The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Riverside County dropped two-tenths of a cent Saturday to $4.662.
The average price is six-tenths of a cent more than one week ago and 30.2 cents more than one month ago, but 1.4 cents less than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has dropped $1.711 since rising to a record $6.373 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The national average price decreased 1.1 cents to $3.151. It is nine-tenths of a cent less than one week ago, 2.2 cents more than one month ago, and 11.9 cents less than one year ago. The national average price has dropped $1.865 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
