A wind advisory is in effect for parts of Riverside County Monday in the mountain areas and Coachella Valley with gusts up to 55 mph expected by afternoon.
The wind advisory will be in effect from 11 a.m. Monday until 11 a.m. Tuesday. There is a chance of rain in the valleys and Inland Empire and a chance of snow in the mountains at 6,000 feet with a low of 21.
Breezy conditions and a 20% chance of rain are in the forecast for the Inland Empire, according to the National Weather Service. Gusty winds up to 30 mph by the afternoon are also expected.
Lows will drop into the mid 30s Monday night with a 50% chance of rain.
Highs in the Coachella Valley will be around 80 Monday with windy and dusty conditions Monday night.
