The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Riverside County rose 3.9 cents Friday to $4.576, a day after rising 2.3 cents.
The average price is 8.4 cents more than one week ago, 4.9 cents less than one month ago and 38.4 cents lower than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has dropped $1.797 since rising to a record $6.373 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The national average price rose two-tenths of a cent to $3.157, a day after rising a half-cent. It is 2.8 cents more than one week ago, 4.3 cents more than one month ago but 38.1 cents lower than one year ago.
The national average price has dropped $1.859 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
