The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Riverside County rose two-tenths of a cent Monday to $4.593, ending a run of 12 decrease in 13 days.
The average price has dropped 11.7 cents over the past 14 days, including nine-tenths of a cent Sunday, according to figures from the AAA and the Oil Price Information Service.
It is 6.6 cents less than one week ago, 21.6 cents less than one month ago and 65 cents less than one year ago. It has dropped $1.78 since rising to a record $6.373 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The national average price was unchanged at $3.165, a day after it dropped a half-cent. It is 1.6 cents more than one week ago, but 9.7 cents less than one month ago and 48.7 cents less than one year ago.
The national average price has dropped $1.851 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
