The city of Indio will host it’s fist Asada Fest Saturday, a family-friendly celebration of grilled meat.
The free event will be held from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday at Center Stage, at 82881 Miles Ave., downtown, organizers said.
It will feature live entertainment including Ballet Folkorico and Sonora Dinamita, kids games, a guacamole contest and more than a dozen food vendors each featuring an asada-inspired item.
