At least one person was killed in a two-vehicle collision on southbound Interstate 215, the California Highway Patrol reported Sunday.
It occurred at 9:33 p.m. Saturday, just north of Columbia Avenue.
The crash involved a red Honda Accord and a gray Chevy Tahoe and ended with the Tahoe overturned on its side and a person trapped inside the Accord, CHP officers said.
Witnesses told officers that multiple children, including an infant, were inside the Tahoe.
Traffic in the Nos. 1, 2, 3 and 4 lanes was stopped while the investigation continued, and good samaritans were helping the victims.
No other details were available.
