The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway remained closed Sunday and will remain closed until at least Monday, according to tramway officials.
The closure was announced Friday due to unforeseen technical issues affecting the tramway’s electronic system.
“We believe we have isolated the issue and are now awaiting delivery of the replacement part,” Tramway Systems Vice President Chris Bartsch announced.
The exact reopening date was still unknown.
