The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Riverside County rose eight-tenths of a cent Sunday to $4.322.
The average price is 1.5 cents more than one week ago, but 2.6 cents less than one month ago and 14 cents less than one year ago, according to figures from the American Automobile Association and the Oil Price Information Service. It has dropped $2.051 since rising to a record $6.373 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The national average price declined four-tenths of a cent to $3.138. It is one-tenth of a cent less than one week ago, 2.2 cents less than one month ago and 28.3 cents less than one year ago. The national average price has dropped $1.878 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
